Since commencing operations in 2004, Mercorella Organics has doubled the range of organic produce sourced from both local and interstate suppliers – There’s a growing market for ‘real’ food.
With the Mercorella Group resources in place combined with our group-wide NASAA certification we’ve been able to give organics the organisation it truly needed to give the growers and sellers of sustainable produce a sustainable income through continuous supply.
The organic range being packed by us includes the following lines:
- Bananas, Beans, Beetroot, Cabbage, Capsicums, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Eggfruit, Pumpkin (3 varieties), Spinach, Spring Onion, Tomatoes, and Zucchini.
We are now packing organic produce for Coles supermarkets across South Australia, Northern Territory, and Victoria, with 50% of the organic produce we pack for Coles grown in South Australia.
To further underpin our ongoing commitment to organic produce we recently received ‘NASAA Organic – In Conversion’ certification for our own farm, which has expanded distribution to include produce being sent to NSW Markets.
